Bio
Risa has always loved design and completed her first remodel in the 1990s. Her love for optimizing living spaces led her to the study of feng shui more than ten years ago. In 2000, Risa became professionally certified and trained with Denise Linn. Soon after, her consulting business began to grow through word of mouth referrals. Since then, Risa has discovered that many of her clients need assistance in areas beyond Interior Alignment, including organization, furniture selection, remodel planning, color selection, and scheduling. Intuitive Interiors offers professional consultation in all of these areas.
Expanding her services and utilizing her skills in a different way, Risa discovered that some clients had emotional content interwoven with their home or office projects. She began a graduate school program in psychology and continued to work in homes and offices integrating different therapeutic techniques into her work. The response has been extremely positive and has allowed final projects to evolve to a level beyond client expectations. Risa helps people resolve and move beyond issues that previously blocked the potential for amazing results. Recently she wrote a handbook for professional organizers about Design Psychology and her unique, effective approach.
Risa continues to foster long term relationships with her clients and focuses on creating balance and comfort in their spaces. She incorporates the use of color, furniture placement, and organization to create environments that feel good. She uses her intuition and training to guide the interview process helping her clients become clear about what they need for their space and collaborating to find creative solutions that work for their lifestyle.
Each project is unique and Risa welcomes the opportunity to exercise her skills in new areas whether it's interior decorating and remodelling, homes that are overwhelmed by years of hoarding, clients who struggle with a transition in their lives, clients who have moved into a new home and can’t seem to “get it right” in the new place, people who have emotional issues that are revealed in the home, basic organization of the infrastructure (closets, cupboards, garages), helping couples transition into a shared space, or interior re-design. She also offers space clearing, blessings and feng shui consultations.

This training follows standards set for feng shui professionals and requires practitioners prove their skills in feng shui concepts, space clearing and Syncro-Alignment™
